About

Hi, I am Marving Chavez. Most people call me Chinto.

I grew up in Aposentillo, right here on this stretch of coastline. The Boom Beach is my home break – where I first stood on a board and where the idea for Boom Surf Tours was born.

I started working in surf tourism at 16 and was part of the first generation to surf The Boom. Since then I have worked with Chancletas Beach Resort, Rise Up Surf Retreats, and Surf with Amigas – fifteen years of learning what makes a surf trip genuinely good.

What I love most about this work is simple: taking people to the right wave at the right time, in a place I know inside out.

Hi, I am Flurina.

I grew up in the Swiss mountains. Five years ago I came to Aposentillo for the first time. I went back, then came back again, and at some point Nicaragua stopped feeling like a trip.

I have a background in event management and hospitality. At Boom Surf Tours I handle everything behind the scenes – bookings, communications, planning, and all the things that keep the operation running. Chinto is in the water. I make sure everything on land is sorted.

Our base is Aserradores, by Aposentillo in Northern Nicaragua. It is a small coastal community with easy access to several surf breaks for all levels, warm water year round, and consistent Pacific swells. It is not a resort town, which is part of the appeal.

Location

Fly into Managua (MGA). We pick you up from the airport and take you back when it is time to go. The drive is around 3 to 3.5 hours depending on traffic.
